Description |
Red Mountain Ski Club Society Stamp. Rectangular wood base with runner stamp on the bottom and a black wood handle on the top. The front of the stamp has a white label with "Red Mnt. Ski Club/1004-188 LIP" in blue text. The label is stained blue around the edges. The reverse of the stamp is stained/painted dark brown, but it is flaking off. The bottom of the stamp is on a platform with a thin black rubber stamp with "Red Mnt Ski Club Society" backwards in raised letters. The handle was a bulbous top with a flat side and is attached to thee stamp through a hole in the top. Handle can come out of the stamp base. |

The Rossland and Trail Ski Clubs combined to form the Red Mountain Ski Club in 1947. The Red Mountain Ski Club was sold on 3 May 1989 to Erik Skat-Peterson (led a group of six investors) |
