Description |
Small brass gauge on an oblong wooden base. The gauge is made up of a frame rounded arched top and sides that form v shape) with a moveable arm on the front. There are deep set grooves on the front of the frame's top that the arm moves along. The gauge is attached to the base by two screws. There is a small hole on each end of the base, indicating that the gauge was attached to something else. |

Unsure of artifact's used. This artifact was part of the B.C. Firefighter's Museum collection before it was donated to the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre. The B.C. Firefighter's Museum was housed in Rossland's original fire hall that was built in 1901 (First Ave and Queen Street). The Museum opened in 1992. The museum closed after only a few years of operations. |
