Description |
A.S. Goodeve Cup. Large silver cup with a lid/sculpture topper on a black wood base. For more detail see below. 1954.4.1a: A.S. Goodeve Cup - Rossland City Football Club. Large silver vase-style cup with two handles. Cup has neck that flares into a large body than tapers slightly to a bottom that sits on the base. Neck of cup has a floral design around the scapploped rim, a wreath on the front and a floral design at the bottom. Body of cup has trophy info engraved inside of a draped floral pattern at the join with the body. Handles are ornately carved/moulded with leaf/filigue design. 1954.4.1b: Large round black base for the A.S. Goodeve Cup. The base has four distinct sections. There is damage on the top of the base (spots have been gouged out to make the cup sit on top). There is metal crest-shaped winners plaque attached to the front of the base by three small nails. There is a hole in the center of the bottom of teh base. "0376" is stamped on the bottom. The Le Roi team=winners. c=Sculpture/lid topper for the A.S. Goodeve Cup. The sculpture of a man throwing a ball. The Sculpture is on a round disc attached to a metal dome that sits on top of the trophy cup. |
