Description |
Medium sized black cast iron cancellation stamping press, with a silver depression knob on the top. The press consists of a rectangle base with a curved arm that end in a 5 cm vertical tube that holds the cancellation stamp. The cancellation stamp extends from the bottom of the tube by 2 cm and is silver. There is a small opening/track on each side of the stamp casing for the stamp to move up and down. The depression knob is attached to the top of the cancellation stamp. The stamp itself is comprised of nine small dots in a diamond pattern. The stamp extends down onto the stamping plate on the base when the depression knob is pressed down. There is a screw hole in each side of the base to mount the press to a table/desk. On the front right side of the base there is an small domed opening that likely allowed for a tray to be inserted underneath the press. "22473" is engraved on the bottom of the base. |
