Description |
Colour slide of the Rossland Girl Guides at Camp Rory. The group of girls (approximately 18) are mostly wearing their dark blue guiding uniforms that are either dresses or shirt and skirt. There are three people that are not wearing the uniform, noting that they may be the leaders or parent chaperons. The group is gathered in a field/opening in a forest. There appears to be either a packed dirt space for fires or a small creek in the foreground (its hard to tell since the photograph is blurry)/ There is a volleyball net set up on the left side of the field and there appears to be a porch/pathway with a handrail up to a cabin in the back left. A car is parked behind the group and the camp opens up onto a forest filled with large trees. A tree-covered mountain is visible in the distance. |
