Description |
Colour slide of construction equipment digging a trench on a hill for a gas pipeline, 1957. The hill that they are digging the trench is in the centre of the scene with densely packed trees on either side. There are two pieces of equipment on the hill side, one a large orange digger with its basket lifted, dumping dirt, the other a smaller yellow piece of equipment. There are two men standing at the base of the hill looking up the hill. The trench extends to the front of the scene, meeting the highway that cuts across the front. |
