Description |
Slide of the Canadian Centennial Celebrations parade on Columbia Avenue. There are several floats and men riding horses making their way down the centre of Columbia Avenue, but they are too far away to differentiate which ones are which. Crowds line both sides of Columbia Avenue and the businesses on the right side of the road are mostly visible for two blocks. Some of the businesses include Imperial Gas Station, Allan Hotel, Payless Variety Store, Lyster’s Clothing, Michael’s Department Store, Wright’s Meat Market, Bank of Montreal, Davies Drugs, Super-Valu, and the Rossland Bus Depot. Snow-covered mountains in the background complete the scene. |
