Description |
Black and white photograph of Olaus Jeldness with three Rossland Winter Carnival ribbons pin to his jacket posed for a photo outside of a house during the winter. He is wearing black fedora and a long black coat over black pants and a white collared shirt with a tie peaking out of the coat’s collar. There are two ribbons pinned to the right side of his jacket and one to the left. The ribbons have two layers – the front is light coloured and the back layer is darker. All of the ribbons are blowing in the breeze, making it impossible to see what is written on them. He has a large, dark moustache and has his bead turned away from the camera. A house is in the background of the scene that is not in focus. The photograph is an oval with a white/cream border. |
